From the land of Facebook, a couple of cool pictures...

This rock, just off of Catalina Island, holds an important place in the hearts of many paddlers.
It is, to some extent, the point of no return.

This was from a BARK team 3 day joeventure (that's a Joe Bark Adventure) in which they:
Day 1.  Paddled to the island from the mainland,
Day 2.  Ran a marathon on Catalina Island,
Day 3.  Paddled home.

Kevin White built his own dory. He's the guy in the big yellow row boat with the banana rocker.
Kevin is rowing for a cause called Food for Thought, meant to highlight the need
to provide good healthy food alternatives for school children. CLICK FOR LINK
In June, we're doing a relay race down the coast on behalf of Food for Thought.
This was a photo taken last night to be used for publicity.

This is a 14 mile downwind race in May put on by Jeff Denholm,  Craig Waltz, and the rest of the
loonies in the Ghostryders Waterman's Club.
